Long ago, I was a painter. I loved to create faux finish techniques. Hence, why I love all that is messy in card making. When this video featured the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder AND Galvanized Metallic Paper, I knew I had to get my hands on these products and mess about. The video features the Country Lane Suite:
Earlier this month, I participated in a demonstrator swap event. My Upline, organized a team meeting and a new Holiday card swap. I love participating in the swaps. I get 15 different card ideas to share with my customers. I am often inspired by these cards to recreate them as is, or change a few attributes. Please enjoy this short video…I hope you are inspired too!
Stay tuned for the 12 weeks of Christmas series, you may see one of these cards again….
This is the answer to sequin placement, or any other tiny embellishments, they claim it is the “Swiss Army” tool of crafting! I’m still saying, “WOW!!” after watching this video

Back again, with another beautiful Brusho background. I created this card, first using the easy brusho technique. Once it was dry I added the versamark and embossing powder. The greeting pairs nicely with the classic label punch and the white perfect accents give it a nice finish. I was inspired to create two cards from this design by changing up the flower. I love how the gamboge is softened when the yellow is added, it pairs well with the Peekaboo Peach cardstock.

Power to the Pandas! Pink Power! When I first spotted this stamp set I went a little ga-ga over it! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and start crafting away! This card was born out of card swap with fellow demonstrators. I love the combination of powder pink and berry burst ( both new In Colours). I think the silver glitter balloon makes this card POP! (pun intended)

Well here I am on Monday, attemping to record a video for my weekly post and what happens? It takes me the entire day to get it all together. Wow! I think to myself, do I really want to post this? Then I realize, that I am not the only one who is playing with this new product and not yielding the “As Seen On TV” results I was hoping for.
So here is a short video on my crafty adventure with brusho and the cards that made the directors cut! Enjoy!

When I saw this stamp set, it was instantly added to my top 5 sets to get!
The versatility within the stamp set is amazing! It’s an all season stamp set for sure! As the cottage season is winding down and many of us are packing up from a season of sandy beaches and icy cold drinks, I thought I would create this card. Fall has always been a busy season for me, so this card is placed prominently on my desk to remind me to “Just Breathe”!
Watch the video to see how I created the card:
I used the Tempting Turquoise ink and watercoloured the background.
As that was drying I put together the other elements of the card. I used white embossing powder for the sentiment, crushed curry for the Adirondack chair, and the seaside embossing folder for the waves on the card base. After I assembled the card I added some glitter with Wink of Stella glitter pen!
I created this card in the Spring for a card swap. I confess, I love card swaps! They are a great way to share your talent with others and to get ideas for creating cards. As a demonstrator, I share card ideas with my customers. Card swaps allows me to have cards using stamp sets I may not have purchased ( and then after seeing an amazing card, I am tempted to add it to my wish list…sigh, such is the life of a craft-aholic)
Check out these newbies. I wanted to offer a stamping 101 workshop to showcase the variety of uses for the versamark pad. Well after some web-surfing inspiration, this is what I came up with:
